This is so sad! A hotel who main purpose is for access to a state park should never be privatized!!! This is a favorite destination for countless individuals and families! Please don't do this!

I am retire state employee and this park is not far from my home. I enjoy going to Fall Creek falls. Privatize this place would be definitely wrong for the county and state. This must stay with the state and stop having tax payers suffer.

I have live in Tennessee for 62 years. Tennessee owes much to tourism. But tourism takes it's toll on the natural beauty . Fall Creek Falls is a rare jewel, don't let her become another junk filled Pigeon Forge, or paved from one end to the other like Nashville. Don't destory what needs to be preserved for future generations. I have watch too much of the beauty of Tennessee fall to the desires of greed in my lifetime... too much. I want my grandsons to have something left to enjoy that isn't riddled with neon light and fast food wrappers. Stop Greed!

Requirements of the request for proposals call for the new inn to have 75-95 rooms that, according to projections in the request, could be rented for $151 per night. Rooms in the current 145-room facility, rent for $76 per night. This is NOT a family friendly/citizen centered proposal

I worked for state parks for 18 years, Cove Lake, Norris Dam & the Cumberland Trail and over 42 for the state. I worked under Dunn, Blanton, Alexander, McWhorter, Sundquist, Bredesen and Haslam. Haslam is the worst thing that has happened to state government during my employment.
