It's a shame that the state wants to tear down something that is history to all of that lives around here. And history to the returning guest that continue to come and make memories with their family while enjoying their stay. Yes, it needs to be updated like we've been told that was going to happen now for the last 3 years. We don't want to lose our jobs due to it being privatized. I for one enjoy meeting and talking to all the guest that comes and goes. If the government saw the faces of the ones we care for that stays there and enjoys their stay. They wouldn't want to come in and try to take over. But, we the little people don't matter to those who sit behind a desk and try to control our jobs.

This is an amazing place that is part of the beautiful landscape and lake. It is a place of great memories since childhood for me and a lot of people. Please don't destroy this beautiful place and people's jobs.

Let's keep this iconic park being run by the "family" we have all come to know and love.

I have visited this park for years with family members and friends. It is astonishingly beautiful and something everyone should visit at least once.

I grew up coming to this park, as did my parents and my grandpa and his siblings worked on this park. It's one of the few employment opportunities for locals and they care for it like it's part of their home. Privatizing and the outsourcing that comes with that will just serve to destroy this small community.

This Is the crown jewel of the Tennessee state parks. So many employees will be displaced because of what they are wanting to DO. It will hurt Van Buren County more than you will realize. That 7% local tax helps the county with the school system. Please realize what's going on.

If our Governor wants a new conference center and Inn he has several thousand acres on which to construct one. There's no need to tear down the existing facilities. Privatizing state resources is political payoff either for past or future gain of those in office. Fall Creek Falls, the most visited park and one that seems to always be in the "black" as far as meeting or exceeding budget/costs annually.

This would be devastating to see our history tore down. I have lived right outside the gate all my life and have made a lot of memories at Fall Creek Falls. I say leave our park alone. It's all about money with those who want to do this but this park is so much more to a lot of us than that. It's not right.

I grew up spending summers in the fisherman's cabins. It constitutes some of my favorite childhood memories. Please don't let this be privatized.
