I want this place to stay as natural as possible. its beautiful the way it is , my grandmother's ashes are spread there because of its beauty and peacefulness

I am 78, Fall Creek Falls has been my whole life, when Judge Taft set on the steps at the Capital with his walnuts to see this park come into existence, What would he say to Our Governor Haslem today, If State Legislature goes along with this they will find themselves on these steps looking for help. The Park has been part of our lives and don't try to take it from us. Don't go down in history as the bad guys (Scrooge) it will come back to hit you in your face and you will never see it coming, I will see that your cruel efforts is published in Blue Book for those after me to see what sorry people you are and it will be around for all to read.

Think about what affects the many instead of effects the few. This place deserves to stay open and let those families with the long standing traditions to come here still come enjoy it, Dont just throw away something and build new if there is no need to . Work on what damages need to be dealt with. Privitizing this park would mean alot of revenue ,and customer loss all around. Dont be greedy, just fix what is already there. dont take away the joy and love that this place brings to the people

PLEASE DO NOT PRIVATIZE our beautiful state park. We have a cousin from Ohio that comes a couple times a year to our beautiful state park because his parents are originally from Van Buren County. He was very upset when he read a local newspaper in Ohio that called our state park "A diamond in the rough". He said what he I've the best about it was the quiet untouched atmosphere.. please leave it alone and let it continue to be an iconic historical asset to our beautiful state.

This is the first step in the commercial exploitation of our natural resources in that area. Once big business gets in an area you can forget it.

My family would like to see Fall Creek Falls inn stay as is. Many family memories and many jobs for local people. Will appreciate Gov Haslam listening and doing what's right for the people!

Biggest waste of tax dollars I ever saw! Anybody remember the bear trace golf courses? Built with taxpayer bound money, then the people who ran them never made a payment! The state had to run them to try to get our tax money back. Many are now closed. This is worse, people's lives are at stake!!!

This is ridiculous we cannot allow this to be torn down and sold to a private company this state park helps two different counties and one of which is van buren a poverty sticker county that relies on our tourist

I remember this park from being a kid growing up in tennessee. Two summers ago i visited with my husband. Next summer i was hoping to take my daughter. Its a beautiful place that all should enjoy. Leave it alone

This Park is the life of many people here. I am Republican but cannot fathom that a fellow Republican with whom I voted and contributed would sit in Nashville and make a decision about privatizing this Park. It is an easy decision for those whose lifes are dependent on this Park in a rual area where there are very few jobs available. It is so easy for those to make these decisions when they sit in a Governors Mansion, has a family business and would never be effected by this change over. This Park is the Park of the people of TN and should never belong to a Conglomerate.
