I was just there today with my grown son who wanted to go for a visit. This was before seeing this of course.
There needs to be updates then stay public. I thought that was already going to happen along with a new pool to attract people.
The zip line wasn't open when we went but that is a great addition.

We have came here for years. If this goes through we will not be back. Gatlinburg is half the distance and you are making this park in the same price range. It belongs to the residences of TN. Not for some third party to make money on it. We come here to support the state of TN. Not a private company.

The governor of Tennessee should be ashamed. Does he not realize that the reason it is the most visited area in Tennessee is because it is not a sterile Modern facility.

This is a beautiful state park that should be left alone. If it needs to be updated, make the updates to the hotel that is already there. The employees should be kept on as well. They depend on their jobs.

We have stayed at Fall Creek Falls Inn for the last 5 years. We love the structure and restaurant, but most important are the friendly staff. Please do not replace this with a modern structure and privatization of the inn.

In the past we would go to the park and camp at least 2-3 times each year. I would hate to see the park become another commercial enterprise at the expense of the users.

This outrageous corporatism has got to stop. Of course the conference center will be expanded. So now it'll more and more be transmogrified into a conference center for corporate gatherings instead of a public facility for Tennessee families? Using our tax dollars?
Sure sounds like it.
And who will be the lucky private company which gets this golden-egg-laying goose, with no expense to them initially? I'm betting it'll be a friend of Haslam's. Who wants to bet against me?
