Mr. Haslam, You should be ashamed of yourself. You care nothing for our lovely state of Tennessee, our people OR their livelihood. You know this will not save ANY MONEY for our State, but WILL MOST LIKELY put money into your friends pockets. YOU are doing this to FORCE people into your ill conceived promotion of MORE rooms AT THE PRISON. You don't have enough people to fill the positions open there now. BUT YOU WILL FORCE PEOPLE INTO POSITIONS THERE WHEN THEY HAVE NO OTHER ALTERNATIVE TO EARN A LIVING. I am a Republican, but I did NOT vote you in for a second term. I will NEVER set foot in the 'NEW INN' when YOU have it completed. You have destroyed people's idea of OUR GREAT STATE. I had always heard politicians were greedy, stupid and crooked, but I had always hoped OUR Tennessee politicians were smarter than that. I am checking with my legislators to see who votes on this bill to 'contract out' our hospitality sector of the State. Then guess who will be looking for new jobs in 2 years?! SINCERELY, Donna D. Mills

This is a State Park not a "Private" Park!

Parks such as Fall Creek Falls are what make our State and Nation unique. Privatization loses that thread if uniqueness and turns it into something else. Politicians at the highest level should be ashamed of this process, and instead of eliminating why not try to innovate? We the citizens would appreciate this kind of problem solving.

As a relatively new TN resident (as of Aug. 3, 2016), I hope we can preserve our public parks for the public. I'm a SC native and treasure the natural beauty of both states. Why would we want to allow a private company to make tons of money from a natural area that has provided a living for so many local families and provided a haven for state residents?

Save the inn! Privatizing the park inn is a terrible idea. That would be a first step to the downfall of our state park hospitality department.

This is just the beginning...this is what the repukes want...to privatize everything they can to sell America to the highest bidder! They have been planning this for a long time. To take everything they can from the average citizen and give America the 1%. Before the repukes are finished they will poison our water, our air, and our food for more and more greed for money. America will be destroyed by the rotten greedy repukes and their corporate masters!
