It's a injustice that the park is being taken away from our community and that the things that are being added isn't beneficial to the neighborhood we don't need a dog park are a cafe we need a place for kids to go and be safe like a community center

With a bark park in Broad Ripple, why the need for one at Tarkington? The double eight food store is now closed...why not take the 5 million dollars and convert that space into the bark park? Then you can add your spray area and cafe as well. The kids that use the park to practice and play should not gave relocate just so Indy Parks can generate a few more dollars.

You say you want kids to have something to do in their communities well part that is they play football and basketball at this park and been doing so for over 30 years and now they have a youth football program that MEN FROM this community MENTOR AND TEACH the youth about football and LIFE. I have 2 nephews and 3 lil cousins that play or played in this program one nephew now plays at Chatard high school and is doing great on and off the field and I know he is only one of MANY boys in this program to go on to succeed. I Believe a FOOTBALL FIELD is needed for the park so this neighborhood can continue to provide the kids a place they can call their own and take pride in it I promise if whoever is in charge would take time and come watch a practice and game you feel the same as me and a whole lot of kids. I am writing this because I grew up playing football ,basketball on a football field and in a gym in my neighborhood and I'm not dead or in jail cause I had a chance.PLEASE GIVE OUR YOUTH AND TARKINGTON PARK A CHANCE. Build the dog park on the tennis courts or somewhere else

This is it morally wrong families for years and years have came to this park and have made great memories Here Young Lloyd were trying to become men have their football practice is there something positive and productive to keep are young boys off the streets to teach him better and you were trying to take the one place that joins us together as a family and others Away for pure selfishness. Where was the truth all process in all this wind of the decision were being made to take this park away from this neighborhood our neighborhood supermarkets have already left now you're trying to take the park what else will be next our Homes.

The lively hood of today's youth should not be compromised. Inner city children need as many activities and outlets so that they can enjoy being a kid . This park has been around for many years and is used by the community more than just rarely ! Please provide these extras to save our youth! This is the only outlet for many of them!!!

Let's not take this from our youth. We have young boys that been playing football for years, keeping them busy and out of trouble. We can't take this from our youth, we are showing them that this positive thing they are doing doesn't matter, and it does matter. They matter! This park is a practice field for many teams. Maybe developers should've actually consulted with the people that use the park, about their view, before taking this from our team.
