To remove this shed from Sylvia's garden would be to deny my wife who uses a wheelchair access to somewhere where she can go for morning coffee or afternoon tea with friends without having to struggle up the high steps into Sylvia bungalow. The flat access to the shed is excellent and a truly wonderful idea of Sylvia for those who can't easily access the bungalow.

Asking for the shed to be moved is an outrage. It is hidden behind bushes and can not really be seen by the neighbour who complained.

Give the lady a break an let her keep her shed. It's not by any stretch as bad as the John Lewis horror they threw up in Leeds. Leave the shed alone let them enjoy their coffee and cake she's helping her community.

So whats the problem? Did Sylvia get permission from Council to build? If not then its illegal. Lets not just blame Council without knowing all the facts. We all have to obey building and planning laws. I would like to know both sides before jumping to a quick decision.

I've seen much bigger sheds in other peoples gardens without any issues. The fact Sylvia is supporting disabled people should alone be enough to keep it. But can't see it is obstructing anyone's view so let Sylvia keep her shed, and continue her good work.

Planning permission is not required if sheds do not cover more than half of the area of the garden; not including the area occupied by the house. It contains no sleeping accommodation and the floor area does not exceed 15 square metres. I'd be interested to find out the exact reasons for removal. It's just a shed. Let it stay.

We and our neighbours have been made to remove sheds for no reason! Makes me angry to think there is no reason to remove shed.

It's a lovely shed in a quiet area. It will be seen by few but greatly appreciated and used by Sylvia and her family and friends.

The shed in no way obstructs anyone's view, and technically is at the side of the house which should be permitted, as the house is on a corner plot and the driveway leads to the front door around the corner...
