Swan park has been visited by at least 3 generations of my family. Very sad to see it like this. We miss our family walks

History, geography, nature, environment, health, well-being, community, family, generations of memories of "round the river", tourism, are just a few of the reasons that spring to mind why we need Swan's Park

i have been visiting swan park for a very long time, and find it outrageous that is not being repaired for the public to continue enjoying it. if this was further south it would have already been repaired, shame on you.

It would be wonderful to see this park restored to it beautiful glory again, it's where I got proposed/engaged there 24 years ago and holds precious memories for us. Please help fix the park.

I live in Derry but visit Swan Park park as it's a lovely place for a walk. I was very upset to see the damage caused by the flood and hope the local authorities responsible for the park give priority to restoring the wonderful local resource for the benefit of the community both locally and further afield.
