Shame on Senior Management. Surrey provided the best tutoring (ironically, research skills) I have experienced to date.

Save Surrey Politics

As a current student these plans baffle me. The University has promised a top ten education and intends to deliver with a department sans 80% of its staff. Anyone who says this is viable or that the staff in the department are not top grade is ill informed or a liar. More than that this destroys the degree of at least a hundred students who could have spent 3 years of their lives and 30,000 pounds on fees and living expense.

A shocking failure of management. Incompetence at this level makes you wonder about the future of the whole university.

Shame on you! These students deserve, and have earned, the right to finish their studies!

This is disgusting that students are being left high and dry

This is unaccetable, the students have paid for tuition with a full quota of staff, you cannot suddenly change what you are offering when fees have already been paid!

Please keep open the Surrey Department if Politics. It is a critical aspect of a liberal arts education.

It appears that the University's hierarchy does not understand the basis of a university's reputation. Do they not understand that we're there because of the quality of teaching and supervising? This action puts the entire reputation of the university at serious risk.

Politics students at Surrey have paid £9000 per year to study here and have contributed to the excellent reputation of the department. Closing it now would be a terrible blow to the value of their hard-earned degrees.
