I graduated from Sunset. How could you name it something else. It’s rude to all the students who have graduated from there.

This school, it’s name and it’s legacy means more to a lot of people, in our community then the city and the new principal seem to realize. Sunset has changed many lives and it holds a very special place in my heart and many others. The name symbolizes something great for us. So much of our small community has changed over these years it would be a great shame and a true heartbreak to see this change as well.

Please approach this carefully. and thoughtfully. A lot of memories are vested in this school. If employers feel the name has negative connotation then there should be more professional outreach not a NAME CHANGE.

Sunset is the only name this school should ever have. It is a great visual for the fact that students come in needing help and leave better off.

This change degrades the efforts and results of the Sunset alumni and staff and especially, Dr. Roy Risner.
