Would love to see this brought back to its former glory as something that would benefit the community & its surrounding towns.

Former Chester resident who hates to see historic homes destroyed. It would be a mistake to demolish this house.

Lease don't destroy this beautiful house. We were just remarking last week how sad it was That it stood empty. We certainly don't need another McMansion . Save the artistry of this house. They don't seem to make the. Like this anymore!

Although I didn't grow up in Chester, I am disheartened anytime I hear of a historic building being neglected and then up for demolition. Having witnessed several historic homes left to ruin in my hometown of Piscataway, and as a regular visitor to Chester, I feel it would be in the community's best interest to find a way to repurpose the building as opposed to destroying it.

I grew up in Chester in the 70's and my Mother worked at Larisons Turkey Farm! Everything on that property is Historical and should be taken care of!

It is unacceptable to demolish a piece of history. A grant request needs to be submitted to the Morris County Historical Commission (and any other avenue available.) It needs to be preserved.

As a former Chester resident, I think it would be a shame to destroy one of the buildings that help make the town unique. Save it!
