It’s a disgrace to even consider letting the building be torn down. I bet the property owners are not from around here and couldn’t care less about preserving the old building. I wish I could personally buy it and save it.

i used to go there all the time, i have pictures of the place and old,post cards please save it how about reopen it the way it used to be please

It is historic and History, and I lived in Chester, from age 10.......This Farm, is, "Chester".......it should not be torn down !!

NJ has a very bad record of saving there history. The list is long,Greystone, Duke Farms, the Dodge Estate and countless other beautiful historical and architectural structure. We learn from our history, Sad most don't realize that. How many CVS's do we need? Greed is the bottom line. I hope Sunnyside and Larrisons don't become another NJ statics

Historical properties must be protected. Destroying historical properties is akin to destroying a country's history and culture. Buildings of historical significance deserve to have protected status.

The old Turkey Farm Restaurant building is a priceless historic gem. Any plan to alter or destroy that building must be stopped. Why is the destruction of this building even being considered? Greed and a lack of respect for our American heritage and culture?

Once history is destroyed it can never be replaced. You really need to reconsider preserving this!

My mom worked at the restaurant. I remember going upstairs and seeing all the old rooms, e.t.c. Don't just destroy a beautiful landmark

I been there as a kid, back in the 1970, it’s a beautiful farm and it’s historic, we should keep it as is, make it a museum so people can see what is was like back in the 1800’s , don’t destroy it, it’s a piece of history!!!

Unacceptable that this historic property will be lost! Morris County (and NJ for that matter) does not need another convenience store. Option: keep the historic buildings as a museum, shop, bed & breakfast and put the new buildings UNDERGROUND. The scenic landscape will be saved.

I grew up going to Chester every week and my family loved Larison’s. The historic significance of these buildings makes them worthy of preservation. Chester needs to form a historic commission with teeth to help save such buildings. Hope Twp has a good model. Their ordinances are online so you can review.
