This house must be preserved and used with whatever the developer builds.

The Larison's Turkey farm property is large beautiful, and the town should force them to keep both of the buildings intact. The developer would still be able to build.

Property values going down ... very sad. Our country town will no longer be a country town soon. Already sad that businesses are closing up.

Please stop the demolition of Sunnyside in Chester. reject the application to demolish Sunnyside. It should not be demolished, but conserved and adaptively reused as many other Chester Main Street historic homes have been, to offices, restaurants, and shops. Under all four considerations of the Chester Borough historic preservation architectural review process, Sunnyside qualifies for preservation. Furthermore Sunnyside needs to be repaired and repurposed.

It’s a travesty to think something so historically relevant and pertinent to the town of Chester could be so easily torn down. Save this location for the future sons and daughters of Chester.

When my then 96 year old grandmother passed away five years ago, we found a postcard from Larison's Turkey Farm in her belongings. It appeared that she kept it as a momento of a visit. What's so special about that? She lived 150 miles away in a small, old coal mining town in Pennsylvania. Keep Chester rural and beautiful!

So much of what makes a community what it is, is the history of the community. It is our duty to share the history with the local residents who may not have any link with the history. What better place to save history than in an history rich home such as Sunnyside! Please listen to the community and hold on to the history of Chester! Do not allow the developer to change the landscape so drastically. Thanks

Please do not destroy the fabric of our beautiful town...anyone that you tell that you live in Chester will say "oh you live by Larisons Turkey Farm!" We love our town please do not take away it's beautiful history....

Please preserve the historic sites in Chester including Sunnyside

Please listen to the voice of Chester's residents and reject the developer's application to demolish Sunnyside! We are lucky to live in a community that has -- in general -- approached development thoughtfully and from a long-term perspective, and we can't let that slip away. Each of us can point to dozens of neighboring NJ towns that haven't been so fortunate and have lost their distinctiveness (important for tourism!), connection to history, and invaluable open space as a result. Once a place is developed, there's little that can be done to "un-develop" it, so we have to be very careful about what we say "yes" to (just look at the Chester Springs shopping center and sprawling parking lot right across the street - it houses some great small businesses but is unsightly and underutilized). The Larison's property is iconic, as are the key buildings that sit on it, Sunnyside included. I genuinely appreciate the developer's desire to generate a reasonable income from the property, but there are far better, more distinctive, and more historically and environmentally sensible alternatives to the current proposal (some of which have been discussed at the Borough Council meetings I've attended in the last several years). As Chester residents, we have to hold firm and insist that whatever is done with the property respects the values that we hold so dear. Thanks, in advance, for saying no to the developer's proposal.

This type of project cannot be done without major road redesign. This will change the look and feel of the town.
