Do not allow this disgraceful slaughter in Suffolk. It is NOT humane and it is NOT scientifically proven to control TB in cattle. Sir David Attenborough has spoken out in opposition of this disgraceful act against our wildlife. It is barbaric, savage and totally unnecessary.

After the debacle of the Somerset cull, how can anyone think that further culls will be effective?

I deplore the senseless slaughter of badgers when a vaccination programme would reduce the incidence of TB. The culling is inefficient and cruel and not worthy of our reputation of being animal lovers and respecters.

Please manage these wonderful mammals humanely, via vaccination.

There isn't enough evidence that the cull in Gloucs was necessary or a solution to the bTB problem in cattle. Funding should instead be targeted into research into Factory style farming methods and cattle husbandry needs to be investigated further.

The Gov policy of culling badgers has no scientific credibility as shown by the ranks of independent scientists that are against it. Not only that but, as a developed country with an advanced economy, we must learn to live with wildlife as a priority not get rid of it at the first opportunity. In the country of Darwin, Wallace & many others of advanced ecological thinking; culling badgers is a retrograde step that smacks of prejudice & Dark Age mentality.

I urge Suffolk Council to not go ahead with any form of Badger Culling. As we all know,we have had the vaccine since 2010,of which should have been used instead of this unnecessary violent rampage across the nation to KILL off all our beautiful Badgers ! If people didn't eat so much junk food of which has made the meat industry a huge player, there would be no real reason to KILL these majestic animals ! The fact is,you have once again, put all the Farmers first and their greed, without a care for the nation and our thoughts towards this disgraceful Murder spree ! We are the majority,we are the ones you want to keep on your side if you want to stay in any form of Politics. Cut back on the over indulgence of eating and shut down all these fast food shops,of which have now blighted every street with their rotten smell, their rubbish and waste ! We do not need ten Kebab shops in the one small area,we do not need many of these Pizza outlets, the same with Chinese food,Indian and the biggest corrupt corporation ,selling un nutritional food,MacDonalds,Burger King. We are inundated with so many eateries now we are making ourselves ill. If you want to end Obesity, start by severely cutting back on all live stock, less meat imports ,so there is no need for so many live stock farms .Then the Badgers will stop being targeted so much all for the Governments and the Farmers financial gains ! No amount of meat from cows is worth killing our precious Badgers off,do the right sensible thing and do not re-start the Killing spree again,as we will be there again in numbers to prevent Badgers from any harm.
