Steve Smith has been the biggest glimmer of hope for Panther fans for over a decade. Through years of meritocracy and bad quarterbacks Smith has been a beacon of passion and leadership. Smitty has been by far the most talented and prolific Carolina Panther of all time! To see how Panthers management is treating him now is disgusting. He has given his best to Panther fans and deserves the best in return. I think I speak for all Panther fans when I say Smitty should not be treated this way and absolutely retire as a panther.
