Disgusted that our government turn their backs on the north and our steel industry, but had no problems bailing out the banks. I am ashamed of our government, all of them labour, conservative all the same.

Redcar and cleveland area need the steel works.we have very little employment here.guisborough lost its foundry not long ago .this effects all that live in the area

Government need to fully consider the wider impact on the region of this proposed closure. It will devastate the area for decades to come and cost far more in the longer term. Totally loyal, hard working and dedicated staff here are been treated appallingly.
