I used to live in Teeside and have had family and friends work there. Steel making is a strategic industry and should not just be tied to high steel prices. At least keep it ticking over.

The cumulative effects of any potential closure would be devastating to this area. It is absolutely vital this facility stays open.

Please help Teesside- it's not just the 3000 jobs it's the entire knock on affect for the entire community! Where these people spend their wages, the benefits they have, morale all time so potentially the need to require more public services! please help and see the much bigger picture here!

One of the arterial veins of the "Northern Powerhouse" that you promised to invest in and grow. The steel industry built over 100 years owes nothing to this country and yet it does not lend money, it does not trade money and it does not operate as a bank. You bailed the banks, I think if you had any sense of decency you should help and support Teesside steel.

It's a life style and a must to keep the community and local people working and bringing essential Made in Great Britain manufacturing on home ground.

Redcar needs employment, it not just the Steel industry that is dieing. The town is going the same way, if no one has money to spend.
