Having worked for British Steel, Corus, Tata and SSI for 36 years I know we are more efficient now than we ever been. It is simply the economic warfare from China that is causing the problem.
We are doing our bit it is time for the government to do theirs!

This is extremely important to me. My brother in law has been laid off, not paid any wages and cannot actively look for work because of the contract with the company. He stands to lose 9 years service with no redundancy. How can they do this. How do they expect them to live and survive.

how can you afford to lose billions of pounds going into the treasury Mr Cameron and end up paying 6000-8000 in benefits to hard working British people Come on Mr Cameron cut the red tape and help SSI

Redcar steel is part of the so called northern power house you brag about. Just pretend the owner is a member of the bullingden club and help Redcar through this hard patch

Work at ssi uk Redcar power station the government need to stop helping foreign countries and help there oven people who work hard and pay taxes!!!!
