Anything that can be done to save steel making on Teesside should be encouraged and supported by the government as this area has already lost many manufacturing jobs and another closure will have a serious knock-on effect on other (mainly smaller) businesses and jobs.

Keep are steel makers in this Country as we have lost so much to all the countries that can produce cheaper steel but it not always the best as more people lose their income and calls poverty in our own country as The areas that have steelworks there Area have a major importance of running a community and keeping employment and take it a way from them is not right at all

Dear David Cameron,
You say your hands are tied regarding helping our steel industry? Well here's an idea, instead of bailing out all of your rich banker friends, bailing out other countries and pandering to Europe, why don't you grow a pair and stand up to the bureaucrats and help your own people, some of these people voted for you!!
9000 jobs plus, not to mention a further knock on effect in the northeast of england, it will have a devastating effect on our northern infrastructure!
In a nutshell, who runs this country Mr Cameron, you or Brussels?
Yours affectionately until the next general election,
The northeast.

I have numerous family and friends who work here and to just close down something that has been running for years is shocking. This needs to be helped by the government. Think of the people its effecting.
