If you gave valid reasons for wanting to close STFC, then players would be more understandable. This will leave an enduring bad memory for Konami and Disney in many of us. We also waited forever for the fun pod racing event every blue moon, but those events were the rarest of all but the most fun of all. Give us another one soon! And consider keeping the game going. You want to alienate all of us Star Wars fans!? Then make the decision to keep the game going! Come on, Disney! Come on Konami! Work this out.
