Killing badgers will not stop bTB in cattle and is a shameful distraction from the action that should be taken.
The NFU must own the problem and not try to pass the blame onto the badger which has been given this disease by cattle . Vaccination of both animals is the only way to solve the problem.

I and my family are very much apposed to the badger cull being implemented in our area and call on the council to reject any attempt by the government to bring this slaughter on our doorsteps.

PLEASE do not kill our beautiful badgers! All life has its problems - humans as well animals. Deliberate killing does not solve problems, we should all realise that by now. It is up to us to protect - NOT kill. There are vaccinations. There are options. Please use the humanity we all possess in any decision, especially concerning those who cnnot speak or defend themselves.

Culling is useless and cruel. Vaccination is the answer. We must do the best we can to protect the badgers.

Our local wildlife trust has already taken the initiative by organising a vaccination scheme. I hope you will be able to follow their example.

LET BADGERS LIVE.
The intentional killing of healthy badgers during the culls is criminal.

Badger culling is unnecessary, inhumane and unethical. Scapegoats for bad farming practice, stress on cattle from intensive farming, movement of untested cattle. Please protect our wildlife and vaccinate badgers. Change laws and vaccinate cows too. I understand cows are not vaccinated because of restrictions on exporting meat from vaccinated cows.

Killing wildlife to cover up poor standards will not wash any more. We have a vaccine and plenty of people willing to do the job for free . They just do not want to admit they are wrong.

Badgers have been on the earth for a millennium and are innocent. Our farmers transport animals for money and many ignore the rules. Lots have appalling hygiene and care, just ask and rambler.
