Too much Chester Heritage being lost. There is so much more to Chester than Romans and students!

Our heritage is important- I didn't know that St Olave's church has Viking foundations. Chester should shout about this! It's not just a Roman city.

This is such an important building and Chester must make more of it's Viking Heritage. I am fed up of it being all about the Romans.

Each time forget or destroy a piece of our past or heritage we diminish ourselves a little bit more

This is for the heritage of Britain, the Vikings ruled most of England for such a long time, we need things like this to show the truth about the past.

Preserve ancient sites, promote tourism and give people who have a passion somewhere to pursue it - what's not to like.

Our ancient buildings should be preserved for future generations. They are one of the few connections we have as a nation to our heritage. Knowing where we come from is vitally important.

Yet more vandalism in the name of increasing the housing stock - I suppose it's inevitable if the refugee crisis continues to get completely out of hand.

I can think of no better re-purposing of this historic church than to serve as a Viking Centre.
