The People make the Church and community. The Saginaw Diocese needs to help communities grow, not force people to leave. Let the people keep their long-standing place of worship. Enough already!

A "For Sale" sign in front of a beautiful church like St. Norbert's, and soon in front of other Bay City Catholic churches says to me, "Don't Come. Half of the Catholic churches in Bay City are closed." It sounds like "We are dying". Will that attract new members, or even bring former members back??

This bishop is a self serving man we are taught to act as God did not act as God !

Please get St. Norberts back up and running. It's the center of a community. People shouldn't have to travel to a different town to attend church. It would actually be easier to go to the Luthern church a couple blocks away than to travel all the way to the next town.

Selling St. Norbert's is financially unnecessary, and in turn will only cause more dissent. If that's possible!

W were never told that the church would be sold and we had plenty of money to sustain it for a long time. We were also told this closure could be revisited in 2 years which is about up. Other churches have been able to be used for holiday masses and we were told NO by Fr Dale Orlik @ Xmas and that we needed to be part of the St Jude's community and that will never happen. They just don't get what they did to our lives and our parish Family! The emotional stress that this closure has caused the people of our parish can never be understood unless you are a part of it.

This Church has been an important part of our family and faith for generations. Please keep it open.
