As a former pupil, I would like to add my support for the campaign to retain St Josephs or allow it to become independent of East Dunbartonshire Council

Let's stop Milngavie losing its only Catholic Primary School.

I wouldn't mind seeing a shared campus with my son's school Clober Primary.

I was asked by a neighbour to go on to the website and fill in the survey about all of the Bearsden primary schools which were being proposed to be merged with another school. My neighbour children went to Bearsden Cross. I did so and filled in the survey saying every school should be saved. I note however that every school has been saved bar the only two Roman Catholic Schools in Bearsden and Milnagvie. I was shocked that these were the only two schools which out of the survey were earmarked to merge every other school saved including Bearsden Primary. I think it is extremely sad that any primary should close and it is seems awful that the only RC Primary in Milngavie is to close moving the children to Bearsden it does not make sense. I will support you and fight with you all the way to ensure St Josephs stays open for the Catholic children of Milngavie. In solidarity !

I have grandchildren in Milngavie and wish that they can be educated in their own community at their own Catholic primary.

School is a pivotal part of the Milngavie area.It has a very good standard of education far the children and has community projects outwith school hours.The enable group meet in the school and many of the members would be unable to attend should the venue be changed. It is a well known fact that children who are educated in their own community gain much from the friends who live nearby and are healthier as they can walk to school I feel that this is a retrograde step and I urge the Council to think again!

please keep St Josephs in Milmgavie, this is our human rights to have our children educated locally within our own faith school.

I don't belief the benefits gained by a new school outweigh all the negatives for both St Joseph's and St Andrew's

This is a fight for democracy. If they ignore us on education and community what else is left.

Do not rip out the heart of our communities

Don't give up hope,, this school clearly does the job children crucially need , time n time again we are let down by council officials, give these children the education they deserve in an environment they are familiar with!!

EDC going against Catholics...THIS is discrimination and totally disgusting! How can they actually do this when they have actually admitted it could lead to discrimination to Catholics!? That is illegal!! EDC need to realise that the way to save money is to lower their own salaries!!!

Please do not close St Joseph's Primary school.
