This school is important to our community. They are being fiscally responsible. Instead of being exalted they are being robbed. Keep our St. Jerome school open please.

Please reconsider this decision. We cannot expect to move forward as a faith and as a community if we continue to leave our children behind and we actively separate them from receiving the sacraments.

This school year was a wonderful one for my niece’s two children who moved here from out of state during the summer of 2019. SJS provided the nurturing and stability they needed.

Just one comment, have our children not suffered enough? We as a nation/adults need to look out for the up and coming, This world is getting worse EVERYDAY. Make things work somehow.

St. Jerome School welcomed our family when we first came to the US. While other schools in the area were concerned that my daughter didn’t know English too well, Mr. Sansone (former principal), welcomed our family and made us part of their community right away. Mrs. Downey worked tirelessly with my daughter and she was thriving after a few months. St. Jerome has been a community that we are still proud to be part of through the parish!

I am a member of the first full graduating class of St. Jerome School. Grade 1 - 8. I would hate to see the school close after so many years. If they are financially secure there is no reason to close !

I have taught instrumental music at St Jerome for 13 years - The families, staff, leadership at the school are unparalleled - second to none. There is such a strong support system for the children and for each other - an environment that ensures not only that each child thrives but that the faculty and administration thrives. It is a true family that comes together in times of need and in times of celebration. It is one of the most loving, supportive and enriching environments that I have experienced in any Catholic school. I can not imagine breaking up such a special community. I whole heartedly support keeping St. Jerome open and perpetuating that special community, that special family.

There is no reason to close this school. You are not indebted, you are choosing to remove school choice from the community, shame on you!!
