The archdiocese is putting politics and money ahead of the children. It's a very sad day. My heart aches for the parents, families, faculty, and the community who have educated and cared for every one of these kids.

Unbelievable! My children went all through SJS. Then to BC High and Norte Dame Academy. Ties to school and church were our strength. Kept us in the parish for almost 50 years.

My daughter started out at SJS and then went on the HFS (which was also unjustly closed). So sad for such great schools

An absolute absurdity to close a school that has the accreditation, outstanding achievements, and enough money in reserve to hold it’s own. I cannot fathom the reasoning behind this. My Daughter attended grades 1 thru 8 and my Granddaughter enrolled as a kindergartner and is currently in grade 5.
Also remember the many families that purchase their home with the proximity of St Jerome School in mind for their children.
The closing of St Jerome School will be a hardship to the children currently attending, those who would ukd have attended for the first time in September, the parents of all these children and most definitely even the extended family of all these children.
Please reconsider the closing of this wonderful school. You will not regret your decision!

Really not a good time for a change. Children’s lives have been disrupted enough. Children should have time to get use to the idea and say goodbye. Children lives matter!!!

why would you close a school with such a strong community commitment. You lose the kids and you will lose the parents who not only support the school but also support the church. Dont bank on them throughing their money back into the parish if you take away the school of these families.
