So sad to hear this news as an alum! St. Jerome School was such a fundamental part of my development and I would hate for the current students to not have the same opportunity to build their character in such a caring environment.

How is merging schools supposed to help with social distancing when there will be almost twice the amount of kids in classes. And why have all the teachers been fired and told to reapply for their jobs. That has nothing to do with the coronavirus. Shame on you for closing a beautiful school that had no budget issues at all? I don’t believe any of this has to do with smaller class sizes, social distancing and coronavirus.

They want to sell this school because of its location and value. That is not a good reason, the school funds itself, is excellent for the students and should be saved.

Went to St Jeromes as a kid it’s a great place with amazing people would be heart broken if it closed
