Both my catholic grammar and high schools were closed years after I graduated but it still hurt.
In a world where Catholic education and a sense of belonging to a true community are more important than ever, closing any schools is the wrong decision.

SJS and community was an integral component of our children’s success as students and young adults. This school needs to remain open.

I DJ’d a few sock hops here back in the day and it sticks out in my memories because those were the classiest, most polite and fun-loving students I ever played for!

Kids need access to a quality faith based education, and St. Jerome's is centrally located on 3a to different towns.

I went to school here from 1st to 8th grade and it was amazing. This school is special and should be saved.

I have so much to say. My wife went to St. Jerome as a kid and that school helped her so much. Because St. Jerome is like a big family. And she had told me so many stories about it and all of the friends that she made and still is friends with today. Lifelong friendships. They are so hard to make and because St. Jerome is like a family she made quite a few. So when I went on a tour to see if I wanted my children to go there. Mrs. Pulio gave me the tour of the school and treated me like I was part of her family right away and I can’t tell you how fast I fell in love with this school and with the people and the curriculum was so amazing. I literally was smiling the whole time I was walking around on the tour. Then when we got back to Mrs. Pulio’s office I said “I don’t need anytime to think about it, how can we get this done? I want my kids to come to this school and get such a better education and become part of the St. Jerome family”. And my children have. My children also fell in love with St. Jerome. So I am begging you to please keep this school open for the sake of the children. They love this school so much and I know that they are praying that the doors stay open.

I was very disappointed to hear this terrible news. It makes no sense to close a financially viable school. I truly feel sorry for the staff.
