It is unconscionable and immoral fo me that the Archdiocese of Boston has slated SJS for closure when it is financially viable, has a very active parent base, and the building has been well upgraded. The fact that the buildings are in good shape suggest to me that the Archdiocese of Boston made the decision to close SJS solely based on financial decisions in that the Archiodese will be able to fetch a pretty penny when it digests this assets in addition to tapping the schools reserves of $300k. This is a morally repugnant thing to do to these constituents and while the Archiodese should be ashamed of this decision, they ARE NOT. Raised Catholic, and happily left the Flock. Why risk loosing more followers? My niece attends this school and her family LOVES it, and did the Archiodese before this backhanded move. So disgusting!

My husband’s cousins kids go here and they are great kids! Engaged, curious and empathetic. True signs of there amazing education and family. My nephew also graduated from the school and is attending law school now. Please don’t take this school away from them and all the other children who attend.
