Please keep this beautiful and historical church open to the UES and those former residents of Yorkvill who left for affordable housing elsewhere and return for Mass

Shamer on Cardinal Dolan, shame on the archdiocese, shame on the Vatican.

One of Jesus' main missions was to make sure the marginalized know they have the same dignity as those in the mainstream. It is especially important for the deaf community, who so often struggle with communication, to have a place where they can consistently communicate in the Mass, the greatest prayer, as well as have consistent, regular opportunity to gather with each other in a faith-centered setting. I admire you, Cardinal Dolan, but I believe this would be a mistake.

I hope this church can continue to offer the sacraments to parishioners and grateful visitors.
