st elizabeth's ministry to entire deaf community throughout archdiocese of ny needs to be an exception to heartbreaking mergers! can st monica's parish really provide for spiritual needs of this niche community. i don't think so; i know & admire st monica's.

This church serves a forgotten community - the Deaf....why would you want to shut them out? Why turn anyone away from the Church and then say "we need to bring people back to the church." We need to keep this church open. For everyone!

Closing churches never makes sense to me. There seems to be less Catholic Churches. And if this one is thriving why close it?

Save our immigrant Churches. While we are all Catholic, for tradition sake we need aqll nationalities to have an existence or else return to ther Tridentine Mass and Latin for all and then we are ONE HOLY AND APOSTOLIC CHURCH. Your call Dolan
