Save St. Anne's Church Spaniards Bay

My grandparents are buried behind that church,as are aunts uncles and cousins! Don't allow the church to be sold as it belongs to the community not the Catholic church

I think it should be perserved; It has a lot of Memories inside those walls

This is disrespecting our loved ones who are buried here so far as I am concern, pls do not do this!

I have family buried in this graveyard, I went to mass here with my grandmother when I was a child

I totally agree with your comments regarding the use of this property. No one wants to see a graveyard not respected.

All of my family members are laid to rest on this property. My parents,relatives and friends are at peace directly behind the church. My own intention was to also be with my family members. To sell the church would be a great injustice to past and present parishioners. The building should serve as a chapel and / or a place of worship by which people can pray for deceased loved ones. This beautiful building should remain as - is. If this is not feasible, then reduce the size. The remaining parishioners can use the building as a gathering place, hold events etc., to raise funds to cover the maintenance.

Donate it to the town so it can be used for the people, by the people of the community and their departed loved ones are left to rest in peace.

Please save this beautiful church. If he parish can't afford to keep it running turn it over to the town to all it to be used for the community. It can be converted to a youth center for the Boy/girl Scouts, cadets, youth groups, counseling sessions etc. In addition, their are numerous family members buried just outside these hallowed doors. How can someone even consider selling this church. The community raised funds to build it and it should be left to the people of the town!

No one ...... AND I MEAN NO ONE will be stopping me from visiting my nan!

This is an atrocity to see any denomination commit such inconsiderate act.
