My mum lives in St Albans, 87 with heart failure. She simply can't keep going to Watford for appointments using buses, the trip nearly kills her. How can a city the size of St Albans not have a hospital?

It’s bad enough that Hemel has closed .
Watford can’t cope and which bright spark chose the hospital to be the one near the football ground . Any one with any sense says at least keep what services we have at St Albans .

It is imperative that a city the size of St Albans retains hospital services and indeed would benefit hugely from the re-opening of previously closed wards. With our failing public transport people need to access services locally.

Local services are badly needed. We must maintain the services we have left at the St. Albans site.
