No more cuts, loss of services or so called centralisation of expertise. What a con. Just invest and improve the NHS please. NO MORE DETERIATION OF OUR NHS, STOP THE ROT NOW.

More and more people are moving to this area. We can't lose provision; we need more - especially GPs and an Urgent Care Centre.

I recently gave up possessing a car in line with advice from central government, my local authority and the NHS that this was better for my health and the environment. So now I'm absolutely reliant on having health facilities within walking distance of where I live in St Albans City Centre. Getting to Watford General will be impossible without a car which I will then need to park near the hospital. The NHS needs to have some joined up thinking about whether it wants to be in the business of building bigger car parks for people travelling from afar or more hospitals locally!

I have an 84 year-old mother who attends appointments at St Albans City Hospital regularly and has occasionally needed to use the minor injuries facility. We do not drive, and having to travel further would be a real problem - especially if she was hurt in some way. A long journey (as they are by bus, they might be short in a car) could make pain worse or cause further injury. Making us use a taxi for a long journey is NOT providing free services!

Our residents need health services here in St Albans a city where once you could be born in St Mary's ward at the City Hospital.

St Albans is a growing place. We need to keep our hospital and open a full A&E to service the huge population of St Albans. With more house being built everyday, the need will only grow.
