It would be a crying shame to loose greenbelt as it's probably only area of Gateshead left that's still beautiful would be disgusting all for greed and profit !

I run and walk my dog around the green belt which I have done for years and it would be extremely upsetting to see all this picturesque land vanish into another housing estate which are spreading like wild fire.

Springwell village is a beautiful picturesque village, I hope it stays that way for many years to come.

The Bowes Railway is a "Scheduled Ancient Monument" the industrial equivalent of Stonehenge, Hadrians Wall and the like. Would these developers dare to think they could propose to do the same at these places and get away with it?

we are worried about the continuing building on green belt land. Also access to road structures in and around the galloping green road area. Also, the Bowes railway is a heritage site and definitely should not be built around

The Village is conjested with traffic now new developement on the proposed site will be disasterous. What gives Hellens chief executive the arrogance to tell the residents of the Village what is in his opinion good for the Village.

More housing would create even more pressure on existing roads.

yes we should save the greenbelt i love the view i have from my garden and certainly dont want to be looking at the back of houses instead and i love living in a village so we need to keep springwell as a village and stick two fingers up at greedy money grabbing developers and land owners who are all to quick to sell out without a second thought to the people living in the area

Leave the green belt alone. The quality of life in springwell village is great. We don't need or won't any new developments near us. It will spoil the area forever.

the village is at its maximum in my opinion. plus could all these new houses be supported by the old infrastructure? i dont think so. Traffic would be a serious concern too.
