keep fighting the good fight, don't roll over to the developers, the money grabbing locals who hope to make a quick buck at the villagers expense or Sunderland council who think it's easier to build on our green belt than on designated brown field sites.

Development on this greenbelt land will further extend urban sprawl, where there is other more appropriate brown field sites that could be developed before using such land.

SAVE OUR GREENBELT! This beautiful village would be ruined by any development on our greenbelt. The extra developments would tarnish the amazing community feeling our village currently has and the strain in which extra residents in Springwell would have on the infrastructure is unthinkable!

the green belt should be saved when we agreed for the houses to be built on the old volken stevin ground that was all that was going to be built you have wildlife etc their keep iff our land we dont want no more houses or any more volume of traffic we cant cope with the traffic as it is this is a village and wont be no no no no noit is ludacris keep off

Springwell is a village, which needs to be surrounded by fields. The village is already a danger spot for traffic, and as a member of the Bowes railway, a Scheduled industrial monument which needs protecting from development such as this.
