SYSC will close from mid February 2015. All membership agreements will be cancelled, casual access and group hiring of the pool, sports hall and other facilities will no longer be possible.
Hundreds of individuals along with many sports clubs will be denied access to a valuable community resource. Apart from which, a team of dedicated employees will lose their jobs.
No rationale behind this decision, however, has been provided.
Let the school council know how valuable SYSC is to you by signing this petition. If enough of us sign it, then you never know, they may just change their minds and reverse this apparently unsubstantiated decision.
