The language program has moved locations probably more than any other program ever in CMS. (In fact K-8 will be moving again next year) It's time to leave it alone and look at developing new opportunities at the Waddell campus, like STEM for one.

If this is all about Myers Park, move their IB program first, before changing things that aren't broken at SM. Wait until the relief schools are open in one year. I have 3 language magnet kids and have been waiting since kindegarten to attend a non-magnet fully established regular HS with sports, etc. and continue on their path (vs 12 years of 100% magnet).

I am strongly against the rezoning. My daughter deserves the opportunity to potentially be a part of the IB Program at Myers Park.

If this is all about Myers Park, move their IB program first, before changing things that aren't broken at SM. Wait until the relief schools are open in one year. These language magnet kids have been waiting since kindegarten to attend a non-magnet fully established regular HS with sports, etc. and continue on their path (vs 12 years of 100% magnet). Go with the other two options for Wadell. Btw, the survey was misleading and horribly designed.

Keep school assignments as they are. Kids and teens have had enough upheaval in their lives....do not intentionally disrupt further!
