This is like a home away from home for many and losing this space will be a huge blow to the Norwegian community in Sydney. I took Norwegian classes there and every year I look forward to the Christmas fair. I have always hoped that one day it would be a place where my children could learn the language and culture of their father and grandparents. I really hope we can find a more affordable space and keep these things going.

Sjomannskirken is a must place to visit when visiting my daughter who lives in Australia - it's her home away from home and its good for me to know she has a place to go to if she needs to.
