KZSO (Formerly 94.9fm Sisters Oregon Community Radio) would like you to sign this petition to save our hometown station. Due to and FAA & FCC error in protocol our frequency was reassigned to another station here in Central Oregon with only a 48hour notice to us. We would like the Sisters Country community and any involved with community radio projects to join us in resolving this ASAP and returning to our original frequency of 106.5fm. We need your support in showing that this resource and its web-content of school, local, and regional events are valued and supported. Thank you for your vote!

The volume of support has secured a sit down with FCC representatives to discuss the frequency reassignment process. Legal counsel is now reviewing the administrative record to ensure our arguments are airtight for that meeting.

I manage KYAC 94.9 LPFM in Mill City. I can tell you it's very important for any community to have a community radio. What is it that we can do to help save KZSO?
We are a small community and this is an important source of information as well as creative output. It was surprisingly professional in quality (for such a small staff). Many communities have radio stations. We only had one. It seems that is an important part of ours. I hope it will come back.
KZSO (formerly 9.49fm Sisters Oregon Community Radio is my source of news, public service and entertainment in the community where I live, work, and play. I have not turned on the radio since it went away. Sadly, I do not get the news and information about community events and activities that make my life richer living here. Bring it back.
Government is here to support the people of this country and there lawful enterprises. The FCC has always operated on a first priority basis, why is there a change to the licensing such that KZSO must relocate frequency because of some error in the licensing process.
I was an intern here for a couple of months and really enjoyed myself. I had the opportunity to interview muscians and community members. A very memorable experience. this station has real value and adds something special to our community.

This action is reversible but you may need Senator Wyden's help. Please call him and ask for Fritz Graham, one of his aids that is very sympathetic to community radio in Oregon. This must be reversed. Community Radio is the only source that really cares about the community it serves.
