This is one of the busiest spots in the summer. C’mon!

The fountain is a significant part of the city's charm. It's useful, fun, and therapeutic during the hot summers. It's a place I feel community. Keep it right where it is.

Please do not change the plaza or fountain. It is wonderful the way it is and a great amenity, both for kids and the kidless who just like to see happy neighbors. Such a nice community spot.

Just permanently close the street to cars. Don’t touch the mosaic!

Please keep the water fountain in downtown Silver Spring. The proposed changes will take away what little soul the area has now.

The fountain is one of the highlights of today’s Silver Spring. Don’t remove it.

We need to keep the things that make those without spare cash STILL feel welcome and included. Why would you take out the wonderful fountain?? Please keep Silver Spring inclusive and diverse.

The fountain brings so much joy to the kids and anyone watching them--pleasd don't remove it. Think about who benefits from what is there now.

This fountain is the life blood of DTSS in the summer. Why would you get rid of it?!?!?!

I like to bike downtown and would like to see this street remain unchanged.

I hate gentrification as it squeezed out others as in climate change

Keep downtown Silver Spring the unique diverse place it is now! Any upgrades or changes should prioritize maintaining the current mix of community uses first and foremost. Say No to gentrification!
