The level of public interest in protecting these parking spaces has grown significantly over the past few days. This momentum confirms that a large number of residents view the preservation of accessible public beach parking as a priority for our community.

While renewed landscaping is great, especially when using native plants, more parking spaces is most important. not just more, let me clarify -- maximizing parking. i have not been to siesta beach in about 9 years, i am offended by the traffic and parking issues. so i stay here in nokomis.
No brainer- More parking, less Money. Resident I am, but have visitors, as we all do. Would hate to see a palm tree where 2 or 4 cars could stand...
I'm a resident. I cannot find parking at Siesta Key today and now you want to remove parking spots. Not the right thing to do.
As much as I would like to see the "old" parking spaces upgraded to a level like the "new" spaces, more spaces will generate more business for Siesta key
Leave the old lot just the way it is please. Who cares about landscaping? You're at siesta key beach. Nature is beautiful leave it all alone

We would go more often if parking wasn't such a nuisance. Consequently, we cannot spend money in town prior or afterwards.
