I enjoyed the pets corner as a child, going round with my mum and sister on a Sunday afternoon! Why take away something enjoyable for young families on a Sunday afternoon in summer?

A place that has been enjoyed by generations and is a focal part of St Helens. I love my town but do really struggle at the moment to be proud of it, Sherdley Park and its amenities is one of the best open spaces around don't take that away from us as well .

We use both of these facilities on a weekly basis & would hate to see them go, the kids love going to see the animals up close & our partners sport is golf, please do not close these as they are used & appreciated.

If you charge a reasonable rate for the golf instead of being one of the most expensive municipal golf courses you would get more people in. During summer months why not try some foot golf. Other courses are earning more from that than actual golf, also the rounds don't last as long. Thus more turnover.

This is a place for everybody to go ,its used for numerous reasons,it's a place of tranquility and peace to reflect on life, plenty of dog walkers ,people using it for training . In my opinion the council needs to get there act together and stop selling land off here there and everywhere, this land was left to St Helens not just the council not your decision you should ask St. Helens you'll make enough of the land that was all green belt land what a farce rant over.........

Given that Sherdley park is council run I do not see why you feel you should even close this place?! The people pay so much tax it would shouldn't even be looked into. However I do understand that you need to sell this land to a development company to line a greedy councilors pocket!

Gave me my first job and stayed there for 7 years, payed my way through university. Great staff and a great course. Would be an abomination to lose it. One of the few food things about the town!
