I sent many good years growing up on Sherdley Park Golf course. I was junior captain for 2 yrs. This is a great place for new comers to try the game of golf.

There is no way this course is not making a profit for the council . Full every day at £18 a go . Hardly any work carried out by the council . Dodgy

Massive part of mine and my childrens lives. Please leave it alone.

There needs to be an alternative to building houses on the golf course. Particularly as Eccleston Park Golf Course is closing to have houses built on it.

It's disgusting that this is even being considered! We must put a stop to these plans or it is the death knell of St Helens

This is really sad.... I live opposite the park;..... it's a fab place.... pets corner should stay. Along with the golf course.

I think its a total and utter disgrace if these closures are to go through I myself grew up having many trips and visits to the beautiful park and gardens as have my children too this park is needed for the community and other visitors from afar that come to spend many hours there I hope this closure does NOT ho ahead and many people across the borough protest.

Not yours to sell. You exist only to look after public property NOT SELL IT. That is why you exist ONLY. Thieves

The whole town is slowly closing down and now the children are being targetted..need to cut back on Town Hall employees and MPs ..best place to cut out "dead wood".

The town doesn't have much for kids to do, the park is about the only free place to take kids why take the only day out a lot of kids in our town can have

Great golf course in a great public space! Tory cuts are biting now, I hope all who voted blue (and purple ukippers) are feeling proud!
