Please save this history. My grandfather came here in 1955 and saved enough money to bring the rest of the family in 1958

please don't let this beacon of Serbian culture be taken away or destroyed. Chicago is a vibrant multictural community of which the Serbians have been wonderful members. this building is a landmark of their participation in chicago's ethnic community and deserves to be preserved.

Current board has not right to lose this important cultural And historical monument. If you're unable to attract people and create revenue you should step aside and give somebody else a chance.

The SAMSS has always belonged to Serbian Community. To take this place away from Serbians, due to the organizations’ poor management, is alarming and Serbian community is appalled by how the Board could even allow this to happen. As Serbians home country’s population is draining drastically since the 90s war, many Serbians have found the States to be their home. The need for centers such as St Sava, is now more than ever needed for immigrates to maintain their cultural heritage and embed our beautiful culture to their offspring.

Traditions tend to represent the core foundation of our families, especially in our Serbian culture, full of blood shed, sacrifice, pain and suffering. Our history defines us in so many ways, and it reminds us who we once were, but also who we have became today. If we ignore our past, we are in danger of damaging our very own existence. But, unfortunately with the action of select few, the importance of our past is being taken for granted and our core values diluted to the point that if we don't stop traitorous act NOW, we will drift so far away from what our beliefs, faith, and values, that one day we will open our eyes and realize that we have lost something invaluable and immeasurable in so many ways.
