We know Scott Hapgood personally and he is a wonderful member of our community. He has volunteered his time and energy to coach our daughter and many other children in lacrosse and has always conducted himself beyond reproach. Scott has always been an excellent role model for young people in our community. Please help him to end this nightmare that ensued when he was defending his family from a drug crazed, armed intruder and allow him and his family to put this behind him.

There are many travesties of justice in this world about which we are powerless. Scott Hapgood must not be one of them. Of course my deepest personal concern is for Scott, his family and loved ones, but I simultaneously shudder to think of the viral reverberation should the pertinent elected officials of Connecticut fail to recognize the gravity of this situation and remain insouciant. Much additional suffering in multiple directions will be needlessly created should this tragedy become increasingly inflamed. Right action must become the highest priority to hasten the proper handling of Scott’s case and to assure his safety. The clarity finally offered through the facts presented in the toxicology report substantiate our plea. It is imperative for Connecticut’s Senator and Congressmen to do their utmost to protect and defend, as Scott was obeying Natural Law in defending and protecting the core of his existence. You have a vital job to do, elected officials. Wisely honor the trust vested in you immediately. SWIFT AND PROPER ACTION FOR SCOTT HAPGOOD NOW!

It’s a miscarriage of justice that a citizen be subjected to the judgement of a kangaroo court in a foreign backwater. Until Mr Hapgood is guaranteed a fair trial, he should be under no obligation to leave the United States.
