Drop the charges immediately! Based on Scott's horrific experience why would anyone now choose Anguilla to take their family on vacation? What was he supposed to do, allow his family to be threatened and robbed in his hotel room? Aside from the senseless lack of justice, Anguilla is also doing irreparable damage to their tourist industry. Smarten up Anguilla officals!

My daughter was a friend of Scott’s in high school
& we know him as really upright & good guy!!!
He has a right to protect himself & daughters
from this guy who tried to force himself on Scott with a knife....for heavens sake!!!!

Based on the evidence as set forth in the press and the deceased’s toxicology report & recent arrest record, this case should be tossed and the family’s expenses paid by the Govt of Anguilla. We wish the Hapgoods our best.

We’ve known Scott since he was 13 and would never intentionally hurt anyone. He was defending his family and the deceased was a drug addict. They should immediately drop all charges.
