Please Town, we have way too many huge trucks coming thru town as it is. No way we need larger gravel operations with MORE LARGE TRUCKS! Enough already. Thank you.

Current mining violently shakes my house during blasting. A huge volume of dump trucks drive erratically through town with no regard for citizens. A blanket of dust covers much of the town. Expanding mining will exacerbate these issues, and create new ones. Mining is not meant to take place in the middle of a town.

Keep in mind,when the mine is done it has to be filled in just like the Dunn Land Fill in Rensselaer.

Enough expansion of mines and the large trucks moving the mass materials on our roads. The NYS Police, Sheriff Patrols can't stop the trucks on RT 43 because there isn't enough room to stop and check the trucks on the side of the roads. Many of the trucks are in violation of NYS Commercial Vehicle laws. The Town of Sand Lake continues to allow expansion of businesses and no longer respect the folks who live here who do not want the expansion as it affects our peaceful living in an agriculture residential areas. The noise from blasting can be heard for miles, the trucks use the daisy brakes on Rt 43 especially around the S curve past Geiser Rd in the Town of North Greenbush.

I urge the town board to not expand mining in Sand Lake. It put pollutants in our air with truck traffic and particulate matter from the mi ing itself which is extremely harmful to our town, our health and our property values !!

Due to the increasing potential impact of the endangerment of wells and water quality, increase air pollution that can cause respiratory diseases. The continued encroachment on the community without any need to mitigate previous mining efforts after two centuries, shows no signs of ending expansion within the Sand Lake region.
