Save this lovely little station. Too many have been lost. This building could be a very useful community resource.

It's a disgrace as it is - the gateway to Cornwall and it looks really bedraggled. Says a lot for Cornwall.

This important heritage asset and the contribution it would make to the town should be fully appreciated - it should be preserved using sound conservation techniques in its refurbishment. This building has a direct connection with the iconic Bruna

This is irreplaceable heritage which won't take much to make it a welcoming facility

This needs to be done to improve the image of Cornwallis gateway town.

What a disgrace! I moved here in 1992 and it was a state then!!

This building should never have been sold to the current owner. It should have been given priority over other projects.

This weeks full Town Council meeting in the Guild hall on Thursday at 7 pm will discuss the Station renovation. This meeting is open to the public

It's quiet obvious that we all agree that this building is a mess , with concrete and wire posts sounding the place and the general disrepair.. As the building is not in the public hands chances of using it as a visitor centre are remote ... In my opinion the best we can hope for is that it would be restored externally as it was, and the interior converted to one bed en suite railway lets ... This would bring people to Saltash be profitable and look good for our gateway to Cornwall ..

It would bring more money to saltash if saved.

A very sad sight, it is hard to work out how this could have been allowed to happen. The signs on this derelict sight inviting people to visit our tow only add to the dereliction

The Railway Authorities of the Beeching era onwards and Saltash Town Council are surely responsible for allowing this decay to evolve over many years. Mr. Brunel would surely raise an eyebrow at the negligence sat next to his masterpiece.

I wonder if the TC gets the irony of tying 'visit Saltash' banners to the disused railings. Who would want to make the effort if the station sets the tone for what lies ahead?
