Save Salem's Historic Brick Sidewalks!

So glad this has been started. Exactly right way to go.

Save the sidewalks. So much has changed already.

The bricks are part of the history of Salem. Please keep them. They just need to be repaired and maintained. Thank you

I would add that our cobblestone streets should also be preserved and maintained . They would be great traffic calming tools if exposed in intersections and are a permeable material that saves money in the long term.

As an archaeologist I understand the importance of the preservation of this beautiful cultural resource and the contribution to the history of this place. And as a constant visitor I adore walking on that street.

This part of history should remain!

Visited Salem last year and absolutely loved it , these sidewalks should stay as they are apart of history in the city of Salem!

We travel to Salem often and I can't imagine not walking down brick walks! It's such an important aesthetic appeal of the city.

Leave the history!! This is what makes Salem, Salem.
